Miley got three smoked ham bones for her birthday.
Miley is the only dog I’ve known who won’t hold a bone with her front paws.
Instead she will hold the bone straight up with one end touching the ground.
I don’t know why she does this behavior.
It would be much easier if she just held them.

Kyuss doesn’t hold bones often. He will once in a while, but he prefers so use Miley’s technique. =D
Maybe she was in that gang who first came down from the trees – and left the cats hanging there behind.
It seems to me, that in average, cats use a bit more their paws than dogs. And that dogs are a little better in using their mouths.
